Scott Mordell
Scott Mordell has spent more than 30 years leading organizations as chief executive. What he has come to believe — and what drives his work today — is that the most important skills for leaders are rarely found in any curriculum.
As the longest-serving CEO of YPO, a global community of more than 38,000 chief executives in 150 countries, Scott built a career around human connection, earned trust, and the conviction that people deserve the space to make their own choices. YPO honored him with its first-ever individual Outstanding Leadership Award in 2022. Team members rated him in the 95th percentile of CEOs on Glassdoor.
Scott now provides strategic counsel through Forrader Group LLC and serves on several boards. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern and a BA degree from Michigan State.

Scott and his wife, Vicki, live in Traverse City, Michigan. They have three grown children.
